Mentor, do not just refer

You onboard freelancers, help them build a ByteStore, coach their branding, and support them every week. The fee is for that consulting work.

Paid from CareerByteCode

Your fee comes out of CareerByteCode's margin, not the freelancer's share. They keep their full applicable earnings and never see the fee.

Paid monthly, net of TDS

Fees accrue on your mentees' sales and are paid through the monthly payout, net of applicable TDS. GST is your own responsibility above the threshold.

How the fee works

When a freelancer you mentor makes a sale, CareerByteCode calculates its own margin on that sale and pays you a set percentage of that margin. Because it is funded from CareerByteCode's side, the mentored freelancer's payout is unchanged.

Example: on a sale where CareerByteCode's margin is Rs 2,000, a 5 percent fee is Rs 100. The freelancer's own share is untouched.

This is not multi-level marketing

What it is

  • A single level: you earn only on the freelancers you personally mentor.
  • A consulting fee for real, logged mentoring hours.
  • Funded by CareerByteCode, never taken from anyone's income.

What it is not

  • No earning on a mentee's mentees. The fee never chains upward.
  • Nobody pays to join. You just mentor and support.
  • No recruitment rewards. Only mentoring a real business.

How to start

  1. Become an active CareerByteCode freelancer (sign in and unlock freelancer from your account).
  2. Open the Freelancer Success Manager panel and sign the agreement.
  3. Share your joining link with the freelancers you will mentor.
  4. When they are approved, mentor them and log your support hours each month.
  5. Earn your consulting fee, paid monthly through the payout run.
